Requesting the Public's Assistance in Recent Thefts
The El Segundo Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying suspects possibly associated with multiple e-bike thefts, vehicle burglaries, and attempted vehicle thefts that occurred during the early morning hours of January 28, 2026, between approximately 1:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
These incidents occurred at various locations throughout the residential areas west of Main Street, between El Segundo Boulevard and Imperial Avenue.
Recognizing that many residents have exterior surveillance cameras, we ask that you review any video footage captured during the above-listed time frame to see if it recorded anything unusual or suspicious. Additionally, if you were outside your residence during this time and observed anything that may assist our investigation, please contact us.
As a reminder, the El Segundo Police Department takes all crimes seriously and relies on strong partnerships with the community to help keep our city safe. If you see or know of anything suspicious, we encourage you to report it.
